In this episode, we dig deep with association provocateur and futurist Jeff De Cagna into one of his six tough questions for boards: “When it comes to the expanding embrace of technology in both their associations and the broader world, …boards face a fundamental dilemma: technology will be at the core of their organizations’ pursuit of long-term thrivability even as it remains an ongoing source of unintended negative consequences for stakeholders and successors.”

We tackle some heady assumptions around how associations should be thinking about emerging technologies, their responsibility to consider possible harm and what boards should be doing to protect their stakeholders, and whether associations really are technology companies…  This is a big one!
