Empowering Workplaces in 2023

December 15, 2022 Maddie Grant

What a year it’s been!  I’m so excited and grateful to all our guests and listeners for how our Work @ Life podcast has grown.  We started out wanting to help people better integrate the world of work and their human, personal circumstances – pre-pandemic but then exponentially more shaken up during the pandemic – so we searched for all kinds of people who were thinking about this conundrum from both sides.  People working with companies being thoughtful and successful with different cultural focus areas to help their employees come out on the other side – and people individually thinking about their own personal journeys and solutions they came up with for shoring up their own power.

From both perspectives, one theme kept coming up: empowerment.  Empowering people at all levels of an organization to find ideas for making their workplaces better – and ideas for empowering oneself to navigate this world and build our own resilience and skillset and leadership. So… drumroll…

From today the Work@Life podcast will be called Empowering Workplaces.

This name better reflects our clear mission (and won’t get mixed up with the Work Life podcast by Adam Grant (no relation). Haha.)  Thank you so much to everyone who has been on this journey with us!

Listen to our wrap up episode below to hear more about what we’re planning for 2023!
