THE DETAILS:

I’m excited to be speaking again at the Innovation Hub events being put on by our parent company, Blue Cypress. The first one was last fall and I did a keynote session on building a culture of innovation.

This year, they are doing two events—one in Chicago on May 2, and one in DC on May 14. I’ll be speaking at both, and my session will be slightly different. I’ll be talking about how you might need to change your culture if you want to successfully leverage AI.

In case you hadn’t noticed, AI moves fast, and it’s pace is only going to increase. But most cultures aren’t equipped with the capacity to move and change that quickly. I will share data from our research that reveals some of those problems. Two of the eight core elements we have been researching are innovation and agility, and those are obviously important, but it goes beyond that. There are several other measures we have that tie back to how tightly your culture exercises control and how much it supports individual agency, which lets your people take action. If you’re not paying attention to these, you’ll end up sabotaging your own AI efforts.

And there will be several other sessions about AI and innovation from experts in the field who are in the trenches implementing. A couple of my clients came to the last one and told me that they thought it was a great event. And if you use the discount code of “PROPEL” you’ll get 15% off!
