Rene Shonerd, MED, CAE, VP of Association Strategy, Cimatri

Rene started her career in the association industry working in roles in both technology and membership at the American Society of Association Executives. She most enjoys working on technology initiatives that improve staff efficiencies, demonstrate value to the membership or that provide strategic insights to leadership. Most recently, Rene led an IT turnaround at a mid-sized professional association. Rene is a Certified Association Executive with a broad understanding of operations in both professional and trade organizations. Outside the office, Rene performs on an adult rhythm tap team and can frequently be spotted in a local dance fitness class. She lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband and daughter.

Jamie Notter, Co-Founder, PROPEL

Jamie is an author and growth strategist at PROPEL, where he helps leaders integrate culture, strategy, and execution to achieve breakthrough performance and impact. He brings twenty-five years of experience to his work designing culture-driven businesses, and has specialized along the way in areas like conflict resolution and generations. Jamie is also the co-author of three books—Humanize, When Millennials Take Over, and The Non-Obvious Guide to Employee Engagement—and holds a Master’s in conflict resolution from George Mason and a certificate in Organization Development from Georgetown, where he serves as adjunct faculty.
