Empowering Workplaces, One Conversation At a Time

January 13, 2023 Maddie Grant

Sanja Licina and I set out to create a podcast through which wwe could gather as many ideas as we could that would help organizations design their own workplace cultures in ways that would support their people.  We also shared strategies for individuals how to feel both fulfilled and evolving inside and outside of the workplace as they defined their career paths and their leadership skills.

As we delved into many important topics and deep conversations with our guests, one word kept coming up to reflect the feeling that the discussions provoked: empowerment.

So we decided that our podcast should more directly reflect what we are here for. From today the Work@Life podcast will be called Empowering Workplaces.

We are stepping into the new year with a clear mission, and a name that we felt best reflects that mission. We want to help empower organizations to be the best places for their people, and help empower workers to be the best version of themselves.

As part of our rebrand launch we will be resharing all of last year’s awesome conversations with the insightful people we chatted with, so look out for those on all our social media channels!  And of course we are busy recording some great new interviews as we speak.

I thought I would take this opportunity to reshare here the short list of episodes where Sanja and I just reflect by ourselves on the things we’re hearing and what this all means for us.  These are the conversations where we get a little vulnerable and share more about our own stories, too.
